Moreth — MythOS Character Guide

CHARACTER

Moreth is a key entity in MythOS — a living fantasy civilization where fate was stolen from reality itself and history evolves without predetermined structure.

Who Is Moreth?

Young man with entirely black eyes who moves too smoothly. Gentle, patient, profoundly sad. He died at nineteen and was sent back.

Throne

Moreth is the current claimant to the Death Throne — one of the Twelve cosmic seats of power that govern reality.

Faction

Moreth belongs to The Final Door — a power bloc within the shifting political landscape of the post-Fate era.

Goal

Understand why he was sent back — and what the Final Door has to do with the Theft of Fate.

Desire

To find meaning in the interval between birth and the Door.

Deepest Fear

The temptation to return. He remembers the peace of death and misses it every day.

Abilities

  • deathsight: Perceive when and how any being will die
  • soulguiding: Escort souls to their afterlife
  • endingspeech: Words that bring closure to unresolved stories
  • Weakness

He cannot connect with anyone. He sees their endings. It would be cruel to get close.

    Hidden Truth

    > He has passed through the Final Door and seen what lies beyond. He was returned with one word: "Not yet."

    Role in MythOS Worldbuilding

MythOS is a self-expanding narrative system where every character has permanent consequences. Moreth lives in a world where the Book of Fate was stolen three years ago, ending the Age of Thrones and beginning the Age of Broken Fate — a world where no future is guaranteed.
